
The skilled, flexible workforce operates 24 hours a day on moulding machines ranging from 40-850 tonnes and using most types of thermoplastic materials to produce volumes ranging from less than a hundred to millions.
Added value services include ultrasonic and hot plate welding; pressure testing; manual and electro-mechanical assembly; and pad, hot foil or silk screen printing. The latter can be performed as an automated part of the production process or separately on finished products for lower volume projects.
On those occasions when it proves more cost-effective, Boddingtons can also handle the assembly of a few components or entire products requiring extensive management of third party materials. Assembly projects have included everything
from the commonplace (telephone handsets and consoles) to the extraordinary – components ejected by aircraft to decoy incoming missiles!
