Boddingtons returns to the MTI EXPO, Coventry, for the third year running and will present the growing features and benefits of its manufacturing operations – not least the capabilities of its Class 7 cleanrooms. Boddingtons is also in the running for the MTI Advancing Healthcare Awards – to be staged at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry on the 1stevening of the show.
Expert Boddingtons personnel will be at hand throughout the MTI exhibition and will illustrate the company clean room capabilities through presentations and a specially commissioned video. The company’s Class 7 cleanrooms attracted much commercial attention at the MD&M West exhibition in Anaheim, California, Feb 6-8 this year.
Since the launch of its £4.6m manufacturing facility, Boddingtons has seized all opportunities to promote its world-class med-tech manufacturing services. Rewards, qualifications and awards have steadily accrued. Boddingtons is certified to ISO13485 and ISO9001 Quality Management Systems Requirements and is also compliant with FDA 21 CFR Part 820.
Boddingtons Managing Director Andy Tibbs expects MTI EXPO to provide customer interest in these manufacturing services. ‘For Class 1 and 2 device production the worldwide med-tech industries are crystal clear on the mandatory cleanroom needs. As well as being FDA compliant in these matters, Boddingtons is delighted to be able to supply these needs directly from our Marden manufacturing site.’
In recent months the current international business climate – via the strong dollar – has been weighted in favour of those qualified UK manufacturers who can quote and compete internationally; particularly into the busy US-based med-tech supply chain.
Export-led demand for Boddingtons manufacturing services is expected to grow significantly in the coming months and years.
