Boddingtons to show award winning services at PDM 2016
Triple Plastics Industry Awards winner Boddingtons is exhibiting a complete range of services in design, tooling and manufacturing at this month’s Plastics Design and Moulding (PDM) show, Telford, June 14-15.
New video material, website and corporate literature will all be part of the new look Boddingtons presentations, as well as a foretaste of the company’s brand new purpose built 2nd factory on the Marden site.
Boddingtons Managing Director Andy Tibbs will join the sales team of Tony Ayley and Lucy Bridge on June 14th in Telford. On June 15th Boddingtons Commercial Director Keith Lawson will present a case study from the company’s work in medical devices to the PDM seminar audience.
Andy Tibbs says that ‘we are all really looking forward to PDM 2016. It gives us the chance to demonstrate the full breadth of our manufacturing capabilities; from ideas to designs and drawings and then to a fully ‘gated’ product introduction process.
We will also use the PDM opportunity to invite select customers down to our new purpose built 2nd facility. These are expansive times for Boddingtons. We look forward to sharing our manufacturing services with the PDM visitors.’
The new Boddingtons moulding facility is set to be operational from next month. It will double the manufacturing footprint of the company and will play a key part in sustaining the sales growth enjoyed by Boddingtons over the past 2-3 years.
In addition to Class 7 cleanroom manufacturing the new initiative also gives Boddingtons an impressive white room manufacturing facility along with specialised assembly areas. The two factory areas – existing and new – will work in parallel and are serviced separately, thus offering full ‘risk mitigation’ for the most demanding customers in technical and medical sectors.
