Boddingtons is currently preparing to have the judges run the rule over the company’s entries for the 2016 Plastics Industry Awards. (PIA).
Boddingtons once again has ben selected as a PIA finalist across a total of three categories; processor of the year, business initiative of the year, and supplier partner (ancillaries) of the year.
Managing Director Andy Tibbs says that ‘we are delighted to once again be playing such an active part in our industry – as measured by the annual PIA awards. Not only does this event give us a chance to have our performance recognised, it also gives great opportunity for networking; for customer relations and for enjoying ourselves in good company. Win, lose or draw, we are very much looking forward to Friday September 30th at the Hilton, London.’
Key among Boddingtons recent activities has been the doubling of the company’s factory footprint with a £4.6million investment in a brand new facility. Key equipment has now been installed and staff will be steadily occupying the new building from August 2016 onwards.
The new facilities will help to substantially raise the Boddingtons presence in the medical and pharma-related sectors
In that vein, Boddingtons has this month been selected to exhibit at the prestigious annual Medica/Compamed 2016 exhibition in Düsseldorf, Germany. This takes place in mid-November 2016 and will be the company’s first showing there. It gives Boddingtons an opportunity to highlight its plastics expertise to the European med-tech specifying and purchasing community.
