Leading injection moulder and med-tech supplier Boddingtons will return to this year’s Compamed exhibition, Düsseldorf, November 12-15, with a new exhibition stand. (Hall 8A Stand D08)
Boddingtons will again be exhibiting recent successful manufacturing and injection moulding projects in the med-tech sphere. The company will also be marketing a raft of Class 7 cleanroom manufacturing services to Medical OEMs, buyers and specifiers.
Boddingtons £4.6m state-of-the-art injection moulding factory has been home to an increasing number of complex med-tech projects since its launch in early 2017. Multi-part medical assemblies are a speciality at the company, as are cutting-edge moulding developments in biosciences and genetics.
Last month saw Boddingtons add a custom-made 160 tonne locking force Engel injection moulding machine to its Class 7 cleanroom capabilities. The new machine is an extra wide platen version with a 170-injection unit that utilises both 22mm and 30mm barrels and is fitted with a new Viper 12 robot. The first job for this production cell will be to produce medical parts from a 16-impression tool, aided with direct hot runner technology.
