The new purpose-built injection moulding facility at Boddingtons Marden is coming together at speed as the project enters its final phase.
Some 15% of the new floor space will initially be used as modular Class 7 cleanroom manufacturing. It will provide Boddingtons with contingency and will increase the company’s current cleanroom capacity by 5times.
The new initiative also gives Boddingtons an impressive white room manufacturing facility along with a specialised assembly area. The two factory areas – existing and new – will work in parallel and are serviced separately, thus offering full ‘risk mitigation’ for the most demanding customers in technical and medical sectors.
The new facility is well on its way to becoming a world-class moulding destination.
