Award-winning injection moulder, Boddingtons, is looking forward to meeting customers old and new on its stand at the Plastics Design and Moulding exhibition, June 2016, Telford, June 14-15.
The company has traded for over sixty years and a constant flow of product innovation has lately enabled Boddingtons to lately treble its turnover; from £5m in 2010 to £15m at the beginning of this year.
A new factory building is currently nearing completion and will double the manufacturing footprint of the business when completed in July of this year.
PDM visitors to the Boddingtons stand will learn that all manufacturing programmes come on line through the company’s gated New Production Introduction (NPI) process. This helps ensure that the customer’s financial and timeline risks are minimized and that product lead-times can be optimized.
Boddingtons investment has been matched by its marketing activities this year. The company is currently progressing enquiries and orders already gained through shows already exhibited at this year; Southern Manufacturing (Farnborough); Medtec (Stuttgart) and Med-Tech EXPO (Coventry).
Keith Lawson says that ‘we are looking to PDM 2016 to help provide new business and a means to meet customers; product designers and inventors; engineers; specifiers and OEM manufacturers.’
Lawson adds that ‘we work with all-comers; “Start Ups” to blue chip multi-nationals. Our NPI process and our tooling and moulding expertise allows us to properly guide good product ideas and projects through to the right place in the market.’
Business Development Manager Tony Ayley and Key Account Manager, Lucy Bridge, are looking forward to meeting customers old and new on the Boddingtons stand at PDM 2016, Telford June 14-15.
